A fun photo shoot at Gardner Village

Little Grandma invited us to Gardner Village Wednesday morning to take some pictures of the girls. Grandma is a fabulous photographer so we could not turn her down! :-) Here's a few of my favorites.

A Fabulous Day at Lagoon!

Cathryn & Lizzie

For Ken's 41st birthday, the gift he wanted was a family trip to Lagoon. We had planned to attend on his actual birthday (July 30th) but Kylie had been really ill the weekend prior and needed a few more days to recoup before taking on an amusement park. So we planned for Monday, August 3rd. Fortunately, that change made it possible for Aunt Natalie & cousin Cathryn to join us for a fun filled day at Lagoon. Natalie was the photographer for the day. The adults managed not to be in any pictures (yeah--we are so thankful!!) as we did not look particularly glorious on that hot day (we got wet as much as we could) :-) Ashley was really brave and went on lots of things without complaint. Lizzie decided to try some rides and found she really liked most of them, her most favorite was the OdySea! She talked about it all day and probably rode it 5 times. All the girls loved the Bat coaster. Kylie rode the Jet Star 2 at the end of the day and it was her all-time favorite. It was a very fun day!

The Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House

We had a wonderful morning on Saturday, August 1st. We met Steve & Barbara Rives and Natalie & Cathryn Fitzpatrick for a fabulous breakfast at Village Inn (thanks for picking up the tab, Steve!) and then we went to tour the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It is a beautiful temple and it was neat for us all to be able to see the whole temple. The children enjoyed being in a temple again--it brought back great memories of our tour of Twin Falls Temple last summer. Here are a few pictures we took to commemorate this neat day together.

The 20 Year Class Reunion

Emily Hansen Cox, Stephanie DeLuca Olson & Me

The alumni

Ken & I had a fun time attending my Alta High School Class of 1989 20 year reunion on the 31st & 1st. We had so much fun visiting that I forgot to take too many pictures. We enjoyed dinner with our friends, Steve & Holly Larrabee--but I did not get a picture!!! I enjoyed finding my friends Emily Hansen Cox & Stephanie DeLuca Olson--and I did get a picture. It was a fun reunion and I will look forward to the next one!
