Lizzie's preschool class went up to the fire station today and I tagged along. We learned good safety tips and had a good time. Aren't we blessed to have great men & women who train to be public servants?

More of the family room got painted yesterday!
Ken painted the other half of the family room yesterday. Now, there is just some touch up, some of the base boards, and the columns around the fireplace to finish (they will be white). Also, many thanks to Mom & Dad Beckert, Pam, and Steve & Barbara for the Christmas $$ for the new rug under the kitchen table. It pulls the space together with both new colors and looks fabulous! Thanks!

Partially painted family room!
Ken spent last Saturday painting half of the family room this gorgeous golden yellow (Sherwin-Williams Harvester color). We are all really excited about it. As more of the room gets painted, I'll add updates.

Thank you for the Valentine's gifts, Yai Yai! We love the movies & the darling print and the treats! The girls had to open "Hello Dolly" and watched it up in our room. Also, the girls love their Christmas dresses. Thanks for all you do for our family! We love you!

New glasses for Ashley
Our little sweetie has new glasses. She is near sighted which means she needs them to see far away. She can see very well close up and does not need them for reading. She is excited about them and happy to be able to see things clearly in the distance!
