We love the fun springtime traditions of coloring easter eggs, decorating cakes, and hunting for eggs. Here are a few pictures of our fun Friday evening and Saturday morning. As always, Daddy keeps us all laughing! Unfortunately, Kylie & Lizzie woke up Sunday morning with a cold, so we are waiting til next Sunday to get all dressed up in their new Easter clothes. We had a lovely Easter Sunday, with a wonderful church experience and the blessing of very dear friends joining us in our home for dinner.
Kylie sprained her knee last Tuesday and has spent the week on crutches. She is improving and we hope her crutches will soon be able to be returned.
I especially felt gratitude to our Heavenly Father yesterday, as I reflected on His love for me in sending Jesus Christ to atone for my sins. What joy I feel as I reflect on Jesus Christ's life and His grace which will allow me to keep His commandment to "be perfect". He is what will finish my faith and make me become fit to dwell in the presence of God the Father, and His Son. It makes me want to shout for joy! :-)

Sounds like a great Easter! That's too bad about Kylie, I hope she feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a lot of fun as a family. You should have had someone take a picture of you! Too bad about the colds, and especially Ky's accident. Crutches are no fun! I hope she will be back to her old self soon. I LOVE all of you. I will look forward to photos of all the girls in their Easter Dresses next Sunday. Give them hugs and kisses from us.
