Our family continues the German tradition (one night early :-))by putting our shoes by the door. If you are good throughout the year, St. Nicholas brings a treat. If you are not so good, Knecht Ruprecht brings sticks & coal. Guess we were all good enough for a treat this time around. :-)
I am glad to see you did it on the same night as me. Karren told me I did it on the wrong night. I figure it's Jeff's tradition and that is the night he told me to do it. The kids don't care when, more gifts right!
ReplyDeleteKylie wanted a book for bookclub and I won't just give my kids stuff without a good reason. :-) So we bumped it up a night so she would have it for the school book group. The kids love it whenever it occurs.
ReplyDeleteI like that you got everyone books. I am a slacker, I didn't do shoe gifts this year. I will definately start next year when Rory will be able to remember it.
