Some special thoughts
Saturday evening, Ken and the girls were playing happily outside in the first really good snowfall of the season. I took the quiet time to prepare for today's Primary sharing time. I chose to share the stories of Jesus. I pulled out 25 pictures of representations of Christ's life. I spent an hour poring over the scriptures from the Old Testament, the New Testament, the Book of Mormon, and the Pearl of Great Price. I was overwhelmed by the spirit testifying to my heart that these are not just nice stories. They are real. They were written by prophets whose sole purpose in life was to testify of the Lord Jesus Christ. It was a holy hour and one I will not forget. It is especially tender to have had that marvelous experience during the Christmas celebration.

That's awesome Heidi. I think it is important this time of year to sit down and have quiet spiritual time learning more about Christ. I also taught Sharing Time this week.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this experience. There is nothing better than the sweet witness of the spirit. I love how that happens especially when studying the scriptures and everything just comes together and you know.
